Automatic parking barriers
Ideal for high-traffic areas, such as supermarket parking lots. Our fastest parking lot barriers raise in 0.9 seconds. We primarily use high-speed barriers in our parking systems that are integrated with parking payment systems. Industrial safety barriers
We have designed our industrial safety barriers to withstand even the harshest operating conditions. A wide range of control options — from push buttons and access cards to a mobile app — allows us to meet our customers’ needs. Each barrier can be equipped with safety features such as an inductive loop detector to detect the presence of a vehicle, single- or multi-zone microwave or radio detectors, or safety photocells. Resistance-based safety strips can be mounted on the barrier arms. Additionally, the barriers can be equipped with warning devices such as traffic lights, warning beacons, or various LED lights on the barrier arm.
Frequently asked questions about automatic barriers
- How to choose the right barrier arm length? The length of the arm depends on the width of the passage. Our barriers are available with arms from 2 to 9 metres. For very wide entrances, we recommend installing two barriers opposite each other that work in synchronisation. When selecting, it is also necessary to take into account the space above the barrier (e.g. in underground garages), where a locking arm can be used.
- What is the opening speed of an automatic barrier? The speed depends on the model and the length of the arm. Standard AUTOGARD barriers open in 1 to 6 seconds. For high-traffic operations, we recommend high-speed barriers, which minimize wait times and ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
- Does the barrier work even if the power goes out? Yes, our barriers are equipped with a mechanical release that allows the arm to be manually raised in an emergency. The systems can also be supplemented with a UPS to ensure automatic opening in the event of loss of mains power.
- What are the options for controlling the entrance barriers? AUTOGARD barriers are fully compatible with a range of control devices. They can be operated using remote controls, ID cards, a cell phone (GSM key, app), a license plate reader (LPR), or integrated into a comprehensive parking system with a payment terminal.
- How much does an automatic gate cost? The price of an automatic gate always depends on exactly what you need and where the gate will be installed. There is no one-size-fits-all price, because every location has different conditions and every customer has different requirements.
