Barriers for every situation
Our automatic entrance and parking barriers are highly durable, low maintenance and have an average lifetime of 15 years or more.
Automatic parking barriers
Automatic entry barriers provide a reliable solution for controlling vehicle entry and exit at a wide variety of facilities. They are used at corporate campuses, logistics centers, manufacturing plants, office buildings, apartment complexes, hospitals, hotels, and public parking lots. Thanks to the ability to integrate with parking systems, license plate recognition (LPR) systems, ID cards, mobile apps, or remote controls, they enable effective access control and enhance both security and traffic flow. For each installation, we design a solution based on traffic volume, passage width, and control requirements to ensure the automatic barrier operates reliably in both normal and demanding 24/7 conditions.
Ideal for high-traffic areas. Our fastest parking barriers raise in 0.9 seconds; we use these high-speed barriers primarily in our parking systems that are linked to parking payments.
You can purchase barriers at affordable prices that offer high utility value, a long service life, and guaranteed service.
Industrial safety barriers
We have designed our industrial safety barriers to withstand even the harshest operating conditions. A wide range of control options — from push buttons and access cards to a mobile app — allows us to meet our customers’ needs. Each barrier can be equipped with safety features such as an inductive loop detector to detect the presence of a vehicle, single- or multi-zone microwave or radio detectors, or safety photocells. Resistance-based safety strips can be mounted on the barrier arms. Additionally, the barriers can be equipped with warning devices such as traffic lights, warning beacons, or various LED lights on the barrier arm.
Automatic Barriers for Industrial Facilities and Logistics Complexes
In industrial and logistics facilities, entry barriers are subjected to heavy daily use. AUTOGARD automatic entry barriers offer a reliable solution for effective vehicle access control, enhanced security, and smooth traffic flow without unnecessary delays. Thanks to their robust, Czech-made construction, they can withstand harsh weather conditions and continuous, heavy-duty operation, with an average service life exceeding 15 years. Industrial barriers can be equipped with arms ranging from 2 to 9 meters in length, supplemented with safety features (LED light bars, beacons, traffic lights), and easily integrated with access control systems — from automatic reading of vehicle license plates (LPR) to time cards and even comprehensive systems for logistics centers and weighing operations.
Frequently asked questions about automatic barriers
- How to choose the right barrier arm length? The length of the arm depends on the width of the passage. Our barriers are available with arms from 2 to 9 metres. For very wide entrances, we recommend installing two barriers opposite each other that work in synchronisation. When selecting, it is also necessary to take into account the space above the barrier (e.g. in underground garages), where a locking arm can be used.
- What is the opening speed of an automatic barrier? The speed depends on the model and the length of the arm. Standard AUTOGARD barriers open in 1 to 6 seconds. For high-traffic operations, we recommend high-speed barriers, which minimize wait times and ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
- Does the barrier work even if the power goes out? Yes, our barriers are equipped with a mechanical release that allows the arm to be manually raised in an emergency. The systems can also be supplemented with a UPS to ensure automatic opening in the event of loss of mains power.
- What are the options for controlling the entrance barriers? AUTOGARD barriers are fully compatible with a range of control devices. They can be operated using remote controls, ID cards, a cell phone (GSM key, app), a license plate reader (LPR), or integrated into a comprehensive parking system with a payment terminal.
- How much does an automatic gate cost? The price of an automatic gate always depends on exactly what you need and where the gate will be installed. There is no one-size-fits-all price, because every location has different conditions and every customer has different requirements. To help you get a better idea, we’ve prepared an overview of the main factors that influence the final price: arm length, opening speed, operational load, control method, safety features, warranty duration, and guaranteed regular maintenance. The price of an automatic gate is always determined on a case-by-case basis. It is influenced by the type of gate, its features, the complexity of installation, and the environment where it will be used. The best way to get an accurate price is therefore a no-obligation consultation, during which we’ll work together to select a solution tailored precisely to your needs.
